The debate over the sexual orientation of maverick musician Charles Oputa, better known by his stage name Charly Boy, has officially been resolved.

The maverick singer stated that despite the possibility of being gay, he is not one.

Charly Boy talked about the incident during a recent interview with reality star Uriel Oputa.

According to Charly Boy, he even has a feminine side that he calls Linda.

He made it clear that he would have led the campaign in Nigeria for homosexual rights if he had been gay.

He said: “I have a feminine side I call Linda. And I remember when I was doing the Charly Boy show, I had this character I always played called Miss Zigizigi. I picked that up when I was in the United States.

“So I’ve my feminine ways and sometimes I can get confusing if you really don’t know who I am. A lot of people have said I am gay.

“I could be but I am not. Because if I was gay I would be carrying my placards going around and fighting for gay rights.”

Charly Boy is one of Nigeria’s most controversial artists, songwriter, publisher, producer, and TV presenter. He is well-known for his unconventional lifestyle, political beliefs, and media publications, most notably The Charly Boy Show.

In an interview with Danfo Express, CB in 2018, Charly Boy stated that he was gay and wasn’t ashamed of it.

He did not omit to mention that he is the leader of the Illuminati in Nigeria, the same group of which Don Jazzy, Jay-Z, and D’Banj are alleged to be members despite consistently denying this.
