Striker Joseph Paintsil has reiterated the senior national team, the Black Stars have enough quality to book a place in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The African qualifiers for the World Cup are scheduled to come off in October this year.

Ghana will face Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and South Africa in the first round of the qualifiers.

The West African country failed to book a place in the last edition of the Mundial hosted in Russia.

However, Paintsil is confident the Black Stars will qualify if they work as a team.

“For me, we have good players and a higher chance of qualifying for the World Cup if we do well,” he told Citi TV.

“We have good players and I think we are going to have a good tournament.

“It all depends on the players and the management, we need to come together and work as a team and go out there to deliver.

After failing to qualify for the 2018 edition of the FIFA World Cup tournament, the Black Stars will be hoping to redeem themselves and book a spot in the 2022 edition in Qatar.
