Kwesi Appiah linked with vacant Sudan national team job
Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has been linked with the vacant Sudan national team job, according to reports in Sudan.
GHANAsoccernet.com understands the former Ghana trainer has received an offer from the Sudan Football Federation to take over the national team.
Sudan are currently without a coach after they parted ways with Croatian tactician Zdravko Logarusic in December 2019.
Appiah’s reign as the head coach of Ghana came to an end just four days ago following an expiration of his contract.
The 59-year-old is well known in Sudan following his stint with Al-Khartoum Al Watani SC from 2014 to 2017 where he led the club to the CAF Confederation Cup qualifications.
If Appiah accept the Sudan coaching role, he will be facing Ghana in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in August 2020.
