Watch highlights of how Thomas Partey has transformed Arsenal since returning from injury
Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has been outstanding for Arsenal since returning from injury.
His comeback has significantly boosted Arsenal’s title charge, bringing stability to their midfield.
His presence has improved Arsenal’s fluidity through his progressive and quick passing. Partey, who is from Ghana, has played only 12 matches this season, with seven of them taking place between March and April.
Although Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta utilized his options effectively after Partey’s injuries, he acknowledged that the Ghanaian’s return has raised the team’s performance level.
“He’s a really important player and we have missed him for many months. He looks in great shape. It’s his presence, his quality, his physicality, and his experience,” he said after Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Tottenham.
Arsenal have not lost any game Thomas Partey has featured in this season, having lost five in his absence.
He will be expecting to extend his streak when they face Manchester United on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
