FOUNDER and Leader of Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Dr Ing. Kwadwo Safo who is known for his many technological products from the Kantanka Technological Centre of Excellence (KTCE) has currently incurred the wrath of the chiefs and traditional office holders in the Ga Traditional Council for what they described as continuous discrimination and disrespect practices exhibited by Dr Kwadwo Safo against the chiefs in Ga Traditional Council in the Greater Accra Region.

The Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana on Sunday December 29, 2019 unveiled a 40-feet vehicle, manufactured by the Kantanka Automobile Company Limited at the Mission’s 39th Technological Exhibition at the Apostle Safo School of Art and Science (ASSAS) at Awoshie Last Stop in Accra.

The prominent personalities who were presence at this year’s exhibition are Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Liberia President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kyerematen, Minister of Defence, Mr Dominic Nitiwul, including prominent chiefs from the different regions but no chiefs of the Ga State were invited to attend the programme.

According to them, they found it extremely difficult to understand why Dr Kwadwo Safo has persistently refused to invite the chiefs and traditional office holders of Ga State in the every year that he wanted to unveil Kantanka’s new products to the public.

They noted that although the man of God in every year performed the launching of his new products at Aworshie, which is part of the land in the Ga State he woefully failed to extend invitations to the chiefs of Ga State to grace the occasions.

“We didn’t understand why Apostle Dr Ing. Kwadwo Safo in every year if he wants to unveil his new technological products at the Apostle Safo School of Art and Science (ASSAS) at Awoshie Last Stop, Accra which is the land of the people of Ga he would invite the Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to Accra to grace the occasions but would failed to invite accredited chiefs in the Ga Traditional Council, even the chief of Aworshie community where he always unveil the technological products to the whole world.

“We the people of Ga State indeed sees this continous practice exhibited by Apostle Dr Ing. Kwadwo Safo as a pure discrimination and gross disrepect to the chiefs in Ga Traditional Council and we are preparing to petition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, Chieftaincy, Culture and Religious Affairs and Greater Regional Minister to immediately to call him to order, or else we would advise ourselves accordingly, some aggrieved Ga chiefs told Myafricatoday.net

According to them, they had information that Dr Kwadwo Safo has given some of his cars to Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, the Asantehene and Otumfuo Osei Tutu II including some other chiefs from the different regions free of charge.

But, the Ga chief lamented they were left behind although the man of God does the exhibition of his new vehicle products on the land of Accra which belongs to the traditional authorities.

“If he would not respect the Ga chiefs in Accra then we are also not going to allow him to exhibit his vehicle products in Accra anymore, this must be a stern warning to him because this year we mean 2020 if he fails to invite us again to any programme to launch his new products in Accra we would organise our Asafo groups to storm the Apostle Safo School of Art and Science at Awoshie Last Stop in Accra to beat all people he would invite to grace that occasion,” the chiefs beat war drum.

To this end, they charged the man of God to immediately render apology to the chiefs in Ga State for showing disrespect to them.

Kantanka Automobile Limited showcased its new stretch vehicle designed in the form of an aeroplane, minus the wings on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

This further demonstrates the strides Kantanka Automobile has chalked as an indigenous car making company in the country.

”Enhancing Sustainable Technology, Organic Agriculture and Culture, the Pathway to Development” was the theme for the 2019 exhibition.

A series of activities lasting seven days for the technological fair kicked off from the December 23 till the big day, which saw the showcasing of a 40-feet vehicle on December, 29 2019.
