The Chief Priest of Teshie has had his palace – the Wulomo Shrine – burnt down by suspected arsonists after rival groups of the area clashed.
The razing down of the Shrine, which houses tens of people happened Thursday, August 5, 2021, leaving many people shocked.
Credible sources within the palace suspect arson as a chieftaincy dispute rages on in the area.
The Mantse and Shikitele groups disagreed about a fishing expedition, leading to clashes that saw the exchange of gunshots. No casualties have been recorded.
Meanwhile, calm has been restored to the area as security agencies move in to avert further violence.
