Stop The Monicracy – APC Communications Officer Slams EC
The National Communications Officer of All People’s Congress (APC), Mr. Francis Ansah Tawiah has urged the Jean Mensah led Electoral Commission to stop the MONICRACY and reduce the election 2020 presidential candidates filing fee of GHC100,000.
“We, in APC wants the EC to engage the political parties and reduce the filing fee in order to create an enabling environment for our multi-party democracy to thrive.
“The EC should have factored the impact of Covid-19 on businesses before doubling the filing fee to One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis.”, he stressed.
He reiterated that the APC is poised to end the established duopoly in 2020 as the party prepares to unveil its running mate ahead of 2020 general elections.
