Secessionist attacks a ploy by govt to deploy military into Volta Region ahead of Dec. 7, 2020 elections – APC Communicator
Mr Lewis Sakare, Greater Accra Regional Communication Officer of All People’s Congress (APC), has accused the ruling NPP government of covering up the shame of the Electoral Commission exposed during this exhibition exercise.
In an interview granted the media, he alleged, “The ruling NPP government orchestrated secessionist attacks in Aveyime and other parts of Volta Region as one of the tools employed to divert attention from the FAILED JEAN MENSAH led ELECTORAL COMMISSION who cannot compile a genuine electoral roll and its potential of derailing a peaceful election.”
“This is also a clear avenue to deploy military into Volta Region ahead of Dec. 7, 2020 general elections.”
He called on the media, being the Fourth arm of government, to give equal attention to the lapses of the exhibition exercise; be a watch dog on the EC and safeguard the integrity of the December 7, 2020 general elections.
“I encourage all Ghanaians not be to deterred but actively participate in the electoral process by validating their details in this ongoing exhibition exercise, get registered by visiting EC District Offices on October 1, 2020 and vote massively for Dr Hassan Hassan, APC Presidential Candidate.”
