SDA elders don’t support musicians – Great Ampong
Ghanaian gospel musician, Isaac Ampong, popularly called Great Ampong has disclosed that the leadership of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church neither supports nor cares about gospel artistes in the church.
The artiste disclosed this on the No.1 Showbiz on Sunday, 8 March 2020.
He told show host Nana Kwame Gyan that: “No, no they [SDA elders] don’t even care. I’ve been in the church since 1984. They don’t have anything to do with any musician. Some of them even hate us; I’m telling you.
“They don’t have anything to do with any musician, they feel like it’s your own business you’re doing, they don’t even think about it”.
He added: “Perhaps, they’re gathering the money to give to Christ when he comes down”.
