Professor Tina Abrefa-Gyan, a candidate of the just ended NPP primaries in Wenchi constituency who lost to Professor Baffour Gyan, together with her team embarked on a visitation to all the registration centres in the constituency to offer assistance to the Electoral Commission and the various political parties with the voters’ registration exercise.
She urged the constituents to go to the registration centres with their proofs of identity, i.e., the passport, national identification card or to go with a guarantor who has already registered under this recent registration whiles observing the COID-19 protocols.
There is no need to rush to registration centres as the EC has in place measure to have every qualified citizen registered, she said.
In her tours of the registration centres, she indicated that the registration exercise will be conducted in 5 phases based on a cluster system with each cluster having 5 registration centres. Ghanaians are being reminded that each phase would last for six days and should get ready to partake in this all-important exercise when it is their turn.
Professor Tina is of firm conviction that the good people of Ghana will reward the NPP government another four-year term for the wonderful performance of the economy both at the macro and micro level.
