Mike Adenuga, Globacom Chairman, in Panic Mode, Runs To Awujale To Speak To President Tinubu

Of a truth even the rich also cry! Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., the Chairman and boss of the leading telecommunication company in Nigeria, Globacom is in trouble.

This is not unconnected to the fact that the shy but bold titan is in panic mode over his alleged wrong moves during the just concluded 2023 presidential election which saw Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerging as president.

It was alleged that during the build-up to the presidential election, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr. backed the wrong horse. His candidate was the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar. Insiders squealed that Adenuga was one of the primary financiers of his benefactor who helped him acquire his license to operate Globacom.

This according to political observers informed the open letter Atiku wrote to congratulate Adenuga on his 70th birthday a few months back, part of which goes thus, “” Comets, they say, come but once in a century. He allegedly prevailed on the Awujale to interface on his behalf to beseech the president to forgive his political misdemeanor during the presidential election.
