Kwabena Boateng wins Ejisu NPP parliamentary primary, Nyantakyi secures 35 votes
Former New Patriotic Party(NPP) Second Vice Chairman for Ejisu constituency, Kwabena Boateng has been elected as the party’s parliamentary candidate for the upcoming by-election.
He secured 394 votes in the primary held on Saturday beating his closest contender Helena Mensah, who had 302 votes.
Yaa Akyemaa Aboagye garnered 229 votes.
Former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, who was hospitalized prior to the election secured a paltry 35 votes.
A total of 1081 delegates voted in the election.
