GHS boss Nsiah Asare reassigned to Presidency
The Director General of the Ghana Health Service Dr Nsiah Asare has been reassigned to the Presidency as advisor on health matters to the president.
His reassignment took effect on November 1,2019.
He is to be replaced by the deputy director general of the Ghana Health Service Dr. Anthony Ofosu, a memo to staff of the GHS sighted by Starr News said.
The NPP founding member and former head of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital took over from Dr. Appiah Denkyira who was appointed by the former Mahama administration.
