DR Okoe Boye’S Appointment As Deputy Health Minister Is Timely – NPP Germany
I want to congratulate Hon. Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye for his appointment as the Deputy Health Minister designate. The appointment of the experienced medical doctor and the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency is very strategic given the experience of Dr Okoe Boye in the health sector. His appointment comes in the wake of heightened pressure on the health ministry to come up with rapid measures to contain covid-19 from spread in Ghana.
Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye has served as the Board Chairman of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He is a Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency in the Greater Accra Region. Dr Oko-Boye is a licensed medical practitioner who holds BSC in Human Biology, Medicine and Surgery from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also holds a Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Hamburg School of Applied Science and an A1 certificate in German from the Geothe Institute, Accra.
We hope that the long standing experience and teams-spiritedness of Dr Okoe Boye will go a long way to help combat the common enemy of the globe. We wish him the best in his new role as Deputy Health Minister.
Rev. Alex Acheampong
Chairman, NPP Geemany
