Defender Joseph Baffo rejects contract extension offer with Halmstads BK
Defender Joseph Baffo has rejected a new contract extension offer from Swedish Superettan outfit Halmstads BK.
The right-footed defender turned down contract extension despite having his contract near expiration. His stay will elapse at the end of this year but has said no to Halmstads BK.
Baffo joined the Swedish club in March 2020 but has revealed his desire to leave the Halland-based club.
Speaking to outlet Kvällposten the former Helsingborg player said
“It’s true that I said no. I am in no hurry to decide, but I can say that I thrive very well in Halmstad,”
“We will see what happens,” he added.
The versatile defender’s current market value is €250,000.
