Bribery allegations: Exonerated Akambi leaves everything to the public to judge
Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Braimah Moro popularly known as Alhaji Akambi says he has leave the judgement to the public after he was exonerated by an investigative body set up to investigate a bribery accusation leveled towards him by some section of the club fans.
Akambi was accused of taking a GHC 200 before introducing Nkoranza Warriors Chief Executive Officer Kuuku Bartels to the Board Chairman Togbe Afede for the signing of Emmanuel Sarkodie.
Despite both Akambi and the Nkoranza Warriors CEO Kuuku Bartels denying the accusation, some section of the fans insisted something fishy went on.
But the three man committee after completing their investigation exonorated and cleared Alhaji Akambi from any wrong doing.
Speaking on Bryt FM on the verdict of the committee, Akambi maintained he won’t speak on the matter and has leave everything to the public to judge.
“I would not like to comment about the issue with regards to the bribery allegation and my exoneration”
“Since the issue came I have decided not to talk about it because there is been a committee that has sat down and then they have come out with whatever they have come out, so the remaining one is left to the public to judge. I don’t have to talk about it” Akambi said
