Arsenal, Manchester United set to lose Partey battle
The pursuit of Thomas Partey by Arsenal and Manchester United seems to be nearing an end as Atletico Madrid expects the midfielder to sign a new contract in the coming weeks, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
Mikel Arteta and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer aimed to hijack the Ghanaian from Spain after a string of impressive performances for Los Rojiblancos but Diego Simeone’s side is confident of keeping him.
Atletico Madrid have been negotiating with Partey for sometime now and offered a mega new deal which has seemingly convinced him to stay.
Partey played 38 matches for Atletico Madrid this season in all competitions and was superb in their Champions League win over Liverpool in the knockout stages.
