Zachariasen drags Kotoko to GFA over unpaid compensation
Ex-Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariasen is demanding US$12,150 over his dismissal last year.
The Norwegian was fired in November 2019, four months after being recruited from AshantiGold.
He was tasked to reach the Group stage of the CAF Champions League, but he could not and when the team dropped into the Confederation Cup they got eliminated by Ivorian side San Pedro.
Zachariaseen is seeking compensation for his unfair dismissal and has tasked his lawyer Prosper Yaw Ntow to drag the club to the Ghana FA Statues Committee.
Breakdown of Kjetil Zachariassen’s demands
3 months salary – US$ 9,000
Pro rata salary for November – US$1,200
Reminder of bonus (Kano Pillars) – US$1,000
Remainder of bonus (Etoile) – US$500
Five months Phone calls – US$450
