Teenage boy allegedly murdered in Takoradi
A 16-year-old boy has been found murdered, allegedly, in Takoradi in the Western Region.
Eugene Kweku Gyamerah was reported missing on January 23 but his lifeless body was discovered in the early hours of Friday at Monkey Hill, a popular forest reserve in Takoradi.
His alleged murder has caused fear and panic in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis, especially among his schoolmates at the Bishop Essuah Memorial JHS.
The body has been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital for pending an autopsy.
The deceased is the grandson of one Mr. Gyamera, a popular contractor in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis, who was killed under mysterious circumstances about 20 years ago at Effiakuma New Site.
Police in Takoradi told 3news.com they have commenced investigations into the alleged murder.
