Sleeping NDC has no message, no manifesto – Akufo-Addo teases
Leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Adoo has expressed shock at the lack of a campaign message and manifesto by the National Democratic Congress(NDC).
According to him, the opposition NDC has stayed home for four good years but still cannot settle on their message and manifesto for the 2020 election.
The President who was speaking in an interview on Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com said the governing NPP which is in power and running the affairs of the country has been able to fashion out its message and is ready to launch its manifesto for the 2020 election.
With this, the President said comparatively, it is clear the NPP is a serious political party than the NDC; a reason why Ghanaians need to give him four more years to do more for the country.
“Up to now; four years in opposition, no message, no manifesto. NPP, people who are in government, we are very busy but we have been able to settle on our ticket and we have been able to on Saturday have our manifesto for the country,” the President stated.
Adding that “I think it tells you about the seriousness of the two parties; who is ready to act and who is going to need a lot of help before it will be able to make progress”.
