People Of Ashaiman Throwing Stones At The Police Amid Lockdown [watch video]
The people of Ashaiman have decided to matters in their own hands as they throw stones at police officers who have been tasked to enforce partial lockdown of Accra and Kumasi.
The President, Nana Akufo Addo in his fourth Nation’s Address initiated a partial lockdown of Greater Accra Region and larger parts of Kumasi to ensure that the spread of the deadly coronavirus is reduced.
Well, the enforcement of the lockdown by police has faced some challenges as a few defiant citizens have decided not to obey the President’s directives.
In a video sighted by thedistin.com, the police who were on duty enforcing the lockdown received the shock of the life as the people of Ashaiman began throwing stones at them.
The reason for the actions displayed by the people of Ashaiman is unknown at the moment, and more details will be published as we get them.
