NDC Guys Kills 2 At District Assembly; Burn NPP MPs Car As He Runs For Cover
Severe fight has erupted between followers of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC and the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP over a slight misunderstanding between them.
This happened right in front of the newly constructed Dormaa west District Assembly office which was constructed by Akuffo Addo.
This was related to the two parties accusing each other of bringing foreigners from neighbouring Côte Divoire to have their names captured in the current electoral Commission register.
Two people have been reported dead through cutlass wounds and burning respectively.
Party cars of the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP belonging to Honorable Ali Maiga h have been burnt into ashes as he ran away for safety, 4 motorbikes also gone in the same process.
The member of Parliament for the area Honorable Ali Maiga of the NPP has called for calm in the area.
” Its not about whom you want to give power. Its about the development and progress of Dormaa West especially Nkrankwanta.
Please nobody should fight. If we fight and we all die, whom are we fighting for? Let Peace prevail ”
The sitting NPP MP who was visibly sad announced on the local communication center at Nkrankwantam.
