Andre Ayew stuns with fifth season goal in Le Havre’s victory over Strasbourg
Ghanaian international Andre Ayew, has notched his fifth Ligue 1 goal of the season in a triumphant match for Le Havre against Strasbourg.
Ayew was on the field for the entire match, contributing to his team’s 3-1 win over the visitors.
Yassine Kechta, the Moroccan forward, struck twice, marking his first goal this season, and setting the stage for Ayew’s later addition.
Kechta’s initial goal came 24 minutes into the game, securing a lead for Le Havre by halftime.
Post-interval, Kechta doubled the lead with his second goal.
Although Strasbourg managed to score late in the game, Ayew sealed the deal with a goal in the 96th minute, reinstating Le Havre’s two-goal lead.
This latest goal brings 34-year-old Ayew’s tally to five in the current French league season with 17 appearances.
