Dr. Bawumia according to the indication of NDC chairman though a Muslim has not shown any sign that he is determined to rise to the defense of his follow Muslim brothers and sisters who have fallen victim to the series of unfriendly attacks.
He recalled that “when Prof Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovations raised a statement that Muslims are causing noise pollution through their call to worship and that they should use text messages to call their members to worship instead of the usual megaphones, the vice president never called the minister to order.”
“Dr. Bawumia sat down and watched this minister wash down our religion and never took any action. What worries us is that we have not seen any serious action from the end of Dr. Bawumia regarding the killing of seven Zongo residents of Asawase by the police who were alleged to be members of the NPP vigilante group.”
Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed in an exclusive chart with THE PRESS RADIO wondered if Dr. Bawumia is sensitive over the way Muslims are treated in the country. “We have advised ourselves and will take the necessary decision come 2020 general elections.” he indicated
