KNUST Student arrested Over Threat To Burn Down Supreme Court
The Police have reportedly arrested An Emergency Nursing student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Simon Awini Ayamga.
Simon Awini’s arrest comes after he reportedly threatened to burn down the Supreme Court of Ghana.
According to a report by GhanaXtra, Simon while commenting on WhatsApp group warned that he will burn the Supreme Court should Madam Jean Mensa, the Electoral Commission boss fail to mount the witness box
His message in a WhatsApp group named ‘POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE’ reads;
“Then we will burn down that place call the Supreme Court…They dare not say Jean Mensah should not enter the witness box.”
