Here are the 8 universities that have awarded Otumfuo honorary doctorate
A quarter of a century ago, Barima Kwaku Duah swore the oath of Asanteman and assumed the stool name Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to become the King of the Asante Kingdom.
April 26, 2024, marked exactly 25 years since Otumfuo ascended the golden stool and in accordance an eventful anniversary was held in Kumasi to celebrate his reign.
Otumfuo is credited with transforming traditional ruling over the years, bridging the gap between traditional leadership and modern leadership styles.
His outstanding accomplishments over the years have earned him numerous doctorate honours from reputable Ghanaian and international universities.
