Kevin-Prince Boateng nets first goal for Fiorentina in Galatasaray rout
Ghanaian attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng netted his first goal for Fiorentina who ended their pre-season with a resounding 4-1 victory over Turkish side Galatasaray on Sunday.
Fiorentina made it back-to-back wins for the first time since coach Montella’s return in April, with new signing Kevin-Prince Boateng among those on the scoresheet.
Boateng converted a penalty in the 42nd minute to open the scoring before goals from Sottil Benassi and Simeone ensured that Fiorentina won the match convincingly. Emre Mor grabbed the consolation goal for Galatasaray.
Boateng joined Fiorentina this summer from Sassuolo in a deal worth One million euros.
