Ghana to become center of the knowledge economy under Kofi Akpaloo

Founder and Leader for Liberal Party of Ghana(LPG) Hon. Kofi Akpaloo has promised to make Ghana the center of a Knowledge economy by the year 2024 if voted for as the President of Ghana.
Ghana under his governance and for that matter LPG he noted will bring into reality the above-mentioned economic goal by investing heavily in buildings and strengthen the nation’s position in software development and IT hardware industry.
According to a release copied to the office of THE PRESS RADIO, he mentioned that his party will ensure that it expands the nation’s share in employment – intensive IT- enabled services across the value spectrum through enterprises like call centers and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) centres.
An extract from the statement of Hon Kofi Akpaloo reads;
‘The LPG sees Ghana emerging as a preferred service provider to the world in an ever-widening range of services, including high-paying professional services of teachers, doctors, lawyers, managers, accountants, and scientists. We will fully support bio-technology sector. We will also strive to develop Ghanaian businesses in other frontier areas of technology, such as micro-electronics, nanotechnology, new materials, etc.
To achieve these ends, we have to make Ghana a front-ranking nation in scientific and technological R&D. Partnership between Ghanaian businesses, universities and other government-supported research institutions will be vastly expanded. We will actively encourage more foreign companies to set up their R&D centers in Ghana or start joint R&D activities with Ghanaian entities. Our professionals and entrepreneurs would be encouraged to participate in this partnership.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with this medium, he called on Ghanaians to rally behind him and thumb-in Liberal Party of Ghana into power.
He explained that LPG is the deserving  political party for Presidential seat since they have what it takes to salvage Ghana from the litany of economic crisis.
