Collapsed building kills 4-year-old boy at Gomoa Jukwa
A 4-year-old boy named Kofi Baah has met his untimely death after a building collapsed and killed him during heavy rainfall at Gomoa Jukwa in Gomoa Central District of the Central Region.
According to the mother of the deceased, Maame Efua Pentsewa, she was sleeping with her children when she decided to step out and urinate.
She said a few minutes after she stepped outside, she heard the building come crashing down.
Madam Efua Pentsewa added that she then started shouting for help to evacuate her children. But unfortunately, one of her sons couldn’t survive.
The body of the deceased has been sent to Agona Swedru Hospital Morgue for preservation.
Meanwhile, the jobless woman has appealed for financial support to enable her to cater for her three remaining children as her husband is also jobless.
She has called on the NADMO to support her find shelter.
