Big Blow To Kumasi FM As Otwinoko Resigns
It’s normal in this radio business when presenters move from one station to the other for obvious reasons, but it comes as a huge surprise if a key figure leaves a radio station whose vacuum will be difficult to fill.
Well, that is the case as a renowned and sensational radio presenter, Linsford Kwabena Asare popularly known as Otwinoko has parted ways with Kumasi FM, The BBC Ghana can report.
For years Kumasi’s biggest voice on evening radio, Odifour Kwabena Asare until his departure from the Class Media Group, was the host of popular family ties, religious, morality, spiritual and mystery late afternoon show ‘Ahenfie’ aired between 3 pm and 6 pm.
Otwinoko, without doubt, has been the face of Kumasi FM for some years now and that his absence from the station would really be missed. Otwinoko, previously worked with Radio Mercury, Nhyira FM, Fox FM and Hot FM.
Regardless, The BBC Ghana will keep you posted on Otwinoko’s next destination.
