AKufo Addo Cancels Payment of Utility Bills For 3 Months Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
As the government intensifies efforts to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus in Ghana, the government has cancelled the payment of utility bills in Ghana.
This was made known by the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
In his 5th address to the nation, the president revealed that the payment of utility bills in Ghana has been suspended for three months.
He also stated that the ECG and the Ghana Water Company have been ordered to suspended any disconnection with this period.
In the address, the President also commended all frontline workers and the security services for their efforts in curbing the outbreak of Coronavirus in Ghana.
