A 12-year-old Ghanaian boy identified as Prince Daniel has reportedly become the youngest student at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) after achieving impressive results in the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Prince Daniel’s achievement has attracted attention because of his exceptionally young age. While many children his age are still in junior high school, he has successfully completed the secondary-school examination required for university admission and is now preparing to begin his studies at UEW.
According to reports, the young student’s WASSCE results showed strong academic performance, with his lowest grade reportedly being a C. His achievement has been widely discussed following the release of videos and images showing him on the UEW campus with his father and elder brother.

Prince Daniel’s older brother reportedly previously held the distinction of being the youngest student at UEW after gaining admission to the university at the age of 13. Daniel has now taken that distinction from his brother after entering the institution a year younger.
