76-year-old woman bonked to death
A 48-year-old man, Kwame Nsowaa is in the grips of the Bechem police for allegedly having sex with a 76-year-old-lady resulting in her death.
The unfortunate incident happened last Friday when residents found Maame Ama Menka lying in a pool of blood on her farm in Dwomo, a farming community near Bechem in the Tano South Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region.
An eyewitness narrating the incident to a local reporter, Barimaba Yussif Abubakar said, the cloth of the deceased was ripped off with some cuts around the neck.
The residents say they suspect that deceased was raped to death.
Meanwhile, District Police Officer for Bechem Supt. Abraham Bansah tells Adom News investigation is ongoing while the suspect is in their custody.
