Karaga District Police Commander ASP Thomas Tulasi revealed that an official complaint has been lodged with his outfit and statements from some of the victims have been taken.

MyNewsGh.com gathered that a rally was held at Sung which is a stronghold of the governing NPP where several persons were bused to the community amidst the display by motor riders clad in NDC t-shirts.

The Motor riders believed to be members of the NDC in a convoy, reportedly rode to an NPP pavilion sparking the confusion leading to the reprisal attacks after a known NPP member questioned the rationale behind their action.

This was said to have escalated the tension in the area with targeted persons attacked in their homes and left with fractures among other injuries.
