Ghana records 337 new COVID-19 cases; total now 8,885
Ghana has recorded 337 more cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours as the country’s total case count stands at 8, 885.
Recoveries have also increased marginally to 3,189 while the death toll still stands at 38.
The current active cases stand at 5,658.
Accra still has the highest number of infections with over 6000 cases now while the Ashanti region is in a distant second spot with almost 1500 cases.
The Ahafo region still remains the only region out of the 16 regions in Ghana yet to record a case of COVID-19 so far.
