Ghana Finally Receives COVID-19 Cure From Madagascar
Ghana has finally received a cure for the novel COVID-19 from Madagascar, The Information Ministry has confirmed on its official twitter handle monitored by Mynewsghana.net.
The COVID-19 cure is derived from artemisia – a plant with proven anti-malarial properties – and other indigenous herbs. Madagascar has so far cure 119 out of the nation’s 322 confirmed cases.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has repeatedly warned that the COVID-Organics drink, which Madagascar’s Rajoelina has touted as a remedy against the deadly coronavirus, has not been clinically tested.
However, Madagascar’s leader has protested claims from the WHO and leaders of other western countries reminding them of the medical history of Madagascar.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, has said Ghana is ready to make an assessment on ‘COVID-Organics’- the purported COVID-19 cure from Madagascar for its efficacy.
