Deputy Energy Minister, William Owuraku Aidoo has described Ghanaians as intolerant with regards to just a week of the current energy crises that has bedeviled, MyNewsGh.com reports.

According to him, just within two years of the current administration, the citizenry appear intolerant about the situation when they were in it for more than four years under the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) government but did not complain as they are doing now.

“It is really interesting that Ghana has gotten into the state that we are. Within just two years of Nana Akufo-Addo’ government, Ghanaians are not of one week of Akufo-Addo’s government Ghanaians are not tolerant of power disturbance and that is saying something. It is only a week and it’s causing a lot of difficulties and inconvenience to people but they cannot stand it unlike some time back when we had to endure years and years of dumsor without too much of Wahala“. He established.

He disclosed that the current administration should rather be hailed for working round the clock to have the situation resolved as soon as possible indicating that the 12-day period given for mandatory maintenance work at Atutuabo Gas Processing Plant could be less for power to restored to normalcy.
