Kia truck grinds Military man in gory Sunday accident; driver bolts!
A Military personnel belonging to the Southern Command has been crushed to death in a gory accident.
According to report from the Ghana Police Service, the Military Man Sgt Owusu Collins of Military Southern Command Quarters aged about thirty-five (35) was riding Service Unregistered Boxer Motor Bike from Tesano direction towards Achimota through Accra -Nsawam main road.
But upon reaching a section of the road in-front of Apenkwa Total Filling Station, he was knocked by an Kia Truck which registration number is unknown.
The driver in-charge of the said Truck failed to stop and bolted with the accident vehicle.
Sgt Owusu Collins sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Military Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead soon on arrival by the Medical Officer on duty Dr. Amoah.
His remains have since been deposited at the Military Hospital pending autopsy whiles the motor he was riding has been impounded by the police to assist in investigations.
