Aggrieved customers of Sikapa savings and Loans threaten demonstration

Aggrieved customers of Sikapa Savings and Loans in Accra are threatening bloodshed following the refusal of the company to either refund a seed capital of GHC200 or loans promised them.

The aggrieved customers claim they were convinced by the company to pay GHC 200 each after which they could request for loan from the company
within one month.

Some of the customers who spoke to Adom News explained that after the Savings and Loans company took their money, they heard nothing about the GHC200 they paid not to talk of the loan they were promised.

“We thought the offer was a good one because we needed money to revamp our businesses but it’s been eight months since 1,000 of us paid those monies but nothing has been said to us. If they can’t give us the loan they promised, they should just give us back our GHC 200,” a member of the group demanded.
