Kwaku Annan, a 22-year-old car sprayer has reportedly been found dead after he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree at Ajumako Ekwamasi.
Residents of Ajumako Ekwamasi in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district are in a state of shock following the actions of Kwaku Annan in taking his own life.
According to information received, the late Annan had recently completed his duties and allegedly committed the act after returning to his hometown from Accra.
Witnesses told Adom News that the deceased was a resident of Etsii Bewora but committed the atrocity after arriving in Ekwamasi.
The parents of the deceased who couldn’t stop crying expressed their horror at learning that their son was residing in Accra.
Isaac Acquah, an assembly member for the Ekwamasi Electoral Area, said preliminary investigations suggested the suspect planned to perform the deed because he brought a rope with him.
