Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is reportedly set to continue his football career in Saudi Arabia after reaching an agreement to join Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab on a one-year contract.
The experienced midfielder is expected to complete the move after undergoing his medical examinations in Saudi Arabia. Partey has reportedly arrived in Riyadh as he prepares to finalise the next chapter of his career.
The proposed transfer will see the 32-year-old join Al Shabab as a free agent following the end of his spell with Spanish club Villarreal.
Partey joined Villarreal after leaving English Premier League giants Arsenal, where he spent five seasons and became an important figure in the club’s midfield.
