Former Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has completed a move to Saudi Arabian club Hajer FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward was officially announced as Hajer’s latest signing on Friday, August 14, 2026. He will represent the club in the Saudi First Division League, also known as the Yelo League.
Amoah joins Hajer after establishing himself as one of the notable attacking players in the Ghana Premier League. During his time in Ghana’s top flight, he scored 21 goals in 52 appearances, underlining his goalscoring ability.
His most notable spell came during his time with Asante Kotoko, where he became an important part of the club’s attack. He was particularly impressive during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
One of the highlights of his Kotoko career came on the final day of that campaign when he scored a hat-trick in the club’s 3–2 victory over Medeama.
The striker’s performances helped establish him as one of the promising forwards in Ghanaian football and eventually opened the door to opportunities outside the country.
Amoah’s career has also included a spell with Libyan club Al-Ahly Benghazi before his latest move to Saudi Arabia. His transfer to Hajer now represents another opportunity to develop his career and test himself in a different football environment.
Speaking after completing the move, Amoah expressed his excitement about joining Hajer and highlighted the rapid development of football in Saudi Arabia.
