seed of hope foundation-Ghana holds leadership workshop
Seed of Hope Foundation- Ghana, a non governmental organization has organized a day’s workshop for a number of youth in Ashanti region. The event which was held at Asokore Manpong Municipality sought to engage the youth,whip up their interest and empower them in leadership and entrepreneurship.
The event according to the leader of the NGO Shamuna Abdul Raman was to help attendees to identify and overcome their weakness in other to be able to achieve their dreams in life.
This he stressed was premised on the fact that most young people aspiring to be leaders are sometimes hindered by the fear of failure, lack of knowledge, proper mentoring and resources.
Speaking to THE PRESS RADIO, Shamuna Abdul Raman underscored that if the current youth are offered the needed assistance to overcome their shortfalls, they will be able to utilize their potentials to achieve their desired goals.
One of the facilitators Alhaji Ali Musah Zingi who is a veteran business mogul and CEO for Zingi Company Limited in a talk during the programme challenged attendees to involve themselves in starting up a business of their own.
He encouraged youth aspiring to be successful entrepreneurs in life to exhibit commitment, have a penchant for risk, creativity, flexibility among other qualities if they want to be successful in whatever business they pursue.
