Rick Ross congratulates Medikal after successful Indigo O2 concert
American music mogul Rick Ross has congratulated Ghanaian rapper Medikal for his remarkable achievement at the Indigo O2 in London.
Medikal, along with notable artistes including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Bisa Kdei filled up the event centre with an outstanding show held on May 3, 2024.
During a live Instagram session, Rick Ross hailed Medikal’s success, proclaiming, “You deserve it…you are most definitely a legend and you are going to get big like the world all you’ve got to do is keep shining, stay real with the real ones.”
The conversation also touched upon their shared connection with Brett Berish, the CEO of Belaire Champagne, who is an ardent supporter of Medikal’s music, particularly the hit ‘Stubborn Academy’ featuring Shatta Wale.
Rick Ross humorously said he wanted to join the ‘Stubborn Academy’ and hinted at future musical collaborations with Medikal.
Medikal, in turn, spoke about an upcoming project titled ‘Vienna Girl’ and discussed Rick Ross’s initiative to collaborate with top African artists, including Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and King Promise.
Looking forward to Rick Ross’s visit to Ghana, Medikal promised an authentic experience away from the upscale neighbourhoods in Ghana.
“When you come to Ghana, you aren’t sleeping. I won’t take you to the bougie areas. I will take you to the streets. Sowutuom and Nima,” he said.
