A Grade nine school pupil has died and a three-year-old has been left injured after they were hit by a car on the N2 south bound near Westwood Mall in Durban.

The pair were crossing the road when they got hit by the car on Friday morning.

According to Life Response paramedics spokesperson Leon Fourie, they responded to a serious motor collision at 06:30 on Friday.
