HOT VIDEO: Police storms funeral grounds; stops family from burying corpse

The Anyinam District Police Command in the Eastern region on Saturday April 27 stopped a bereaved family from burying a corpse which was laid in state awaiting to be conveyed to the cemetery.
A team of Police Personnel stormed Adasewase, a farming community in the Atiwa East Municipality to stop the planned burial of the deceased, Kwasi Asante, 46, upon intelligence that he was allegedly killed by his junior brother Kwadwo Asamoah alias Akyem Boye , 40, but the family failed to report the incident.
The Police team dispatched to the funerary grounds with assistance from some family members conveyed the body of the deceased to Ankaase CHAD Mortuary for physical inspection realising that the deceased was bleeding from the nostrils.
Also, Police investigators noticed an injury on the head with a swollen right eye, bruises on the right shoulder and cut on the right thump.
Information gathered indicates that the deceased was assaulted and hit in the head several times with a club by the suspect on April 26,2019 leading to his death after a misunderstanding ensued between them.
Efforts are underway to arrest the suspect now on the run.
