Police hunt for KNUST 3rd Year Student after running away with over GHC 100K hostel fees
A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is being wanted by the police after bolting away with hostel fees of other students worth over GHC 100,000.
The student identified as Agyapong Kwabena Fred is said to be in his 3rd year at the prestigious University.
Fred Kwabena Agyapong is no where to be found after he took over Ghc 100,000 hostel fees from other students.
According to source, he took money from his victims to secure them Wagyingo hostel. He sent them proof of payment by issuing them a fake receipt, email and SMS to back his claims that he had indeed paid which he hasn’t.
He was last seen in a picture he took at the airport, so there are speculations that he had fled out of the country.
The student populace have therefore been advised to take precautions to avoid similar events in the near future.
