Here’s why Sweet Adjele’s husband nearly crushed her food vlogging

Popular US-based Ghanaian food vlogger, Sweet Adjeley, has revealed her initial challenges and her husband’s opposition when she first proposed starting her business.

Speaking on 3FM, she shared that initially, her husband expressed concerns about invasion of privacy, saying, “No way. I don’t want people to know what I’m eating.”

However, over time, he came around and began to support her venture, which she credits for contributing to her growth.

Addressing how she deals with online negativity from trolls within her profession, Sweet Adjeley mentioned that her husband plays a supportive role in helping her navigate such situations.

She added that she now confidently engages with trolls, responding to them firmly when necessary, a contrast from her earlier approach of ignoring them.

Aside from her vlogging career, Sweet Adjeley, who also works as a medical assistant in the US, has developed various recipes and spice mixes, including all-purpose seasoning, natural spice blends, and a special seasoning for kelewele.

“I have my all-purpose seasoning. I have my natural spice mix, kelewele seasoning and I am also working on just the regular garlic, ginger powders, and stuff,” she mentioned.

Sweet Adjeley currently holds the title of the Ghanaian food vlogger with the highest number of subscribers on YouTube.
