Mother of Ruth Quayson, one of the girls kidnapped in Takoradi is battling depression.

Comfort Quayson revealed that, she now hallucinates and feels things running in her head anytime she thinks about her daughter’s disappearance.

What has made the issue murkier, she noted, is the loud silence of the police after announcing they knew the whereabouts of the girls.

“I was nearly knocked down by a vehicle due to hallucinations over the disappearance of my daughter, Ruth Quayson,” Madam Comfort revealed on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Tuesday.

She noted that due to her deteriorating health condition, a doctor is on red alert to attend to her should something happen to her.

She cited how her blood pressure had risen to 200 and her inability to eat to buttress her point.

“There was a sign of relief when the police said my daughter was alive so I quickly contacted the Criminal Investigations Department boss and she told me they are working on it. Till now, I have not heard anything and I feel I’m going mad,” she bemoaned.

The situation, Madam Comfort said is getting out of hand since “I get anxious anytime I see a car because I feel my daughter is coming home.”

She said since the police are tight-lipped on the matter, they would storm the headquarters on May 2, 2019 to demand answers.

Two of the girls, 15-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie and 18-year old Ruth Love Quayson went missing in December last year, whilst 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum went missing as far back as August last year.

The suspect, Samuel Udoetuk Wills, a Nigerian is facing trial for masterminding the kidnap.
