Arsenal offer Thomas Partey contract extension until 2026 – Reports

Arsenal has officially offered Thomas Partey a new contract that would keep him at the Emirates Stadium until 2026, with an option to extend for another year, until 2027, according to Nico Sciarra.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who has returned to consistent form in recent months, remains a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s plans.

Multiple sources report that Arsenal views Partey as an important part of their midfield setup for the next season, despite ongoing discussions about strengthening the squad.

Partey’s current deal was set to expire in 2025, but the Gunners are keen to secure his future early.

His experience, composure, and tactical intelligence continue to make him a vital asset, especially as Arsenal aims to maintain their competitive edge both domestically and in Europe.

Negotiations are still ongoing, but there is optimism from both sides that an agreement will be reached, securing Partey’s place at the heart of Arsenal’s ambitions for years to come.

The midfielder has scored four goals in 32 Premier League appearances during the 2024/25 season.
